 + Eventful

Automatically create Salesforce campaigns, track attendee status, and measure post-event pipeline.

The Eventful Salesforce integration turns every event you run into a first-class Salesforce campaign — so registrations, approvals, attendance, and post-event pipeline are tracked directly inside your CRM.

Instead of relying on spreadsheets, manual imports, or custom objects, Eventful uses Salesforce’s native campaign and campaign member model to keep your data clean, accurate, and ready for reporting and automation.

Automatically Create Salesforce Campaigns for Events

Whenever you create an event in Eventful, a corresponding Salesforce Campaign is automatically created.

Each campaign includes key event details, such as:

  • Campaign name
  • Event description
  • Event type
  • Start date and end date
  • Start time and end time

This ensures every event has a dedicated campaign in Salesforce that can be used for reporting, workflows, and attribution — without manual setup.

Sync Registrants as Campaign Members

As people register for your event, Eventful syncs that activity directly into Salesforce.

  • If the registrant already exists as a Contact in Salesforce, Eventful associates them with the event campaign.
  • If the registrant does not exist, Eventful creates a new Contact — unless restricted by your Salesforce rules.

Each registrant is associated with the campaign as a Campaign Member, giving you immediate visibility into who has signed up for the event.

Track Approvals, Declines, and Attendance with Campaign Member Status

Unlike some CRM event models, Salesforce allows Eventful to track the full event lifecycle using Campaign Member Status.

As registrants move through your event workflow, their campaign member status is automatically updated:

  • Registered
  • Approved
  • Declined
  • Attended

This makes it easy to understand exactly where each contact stands —and to build Salesforce reports or automation based on real event outcomes.

Check In Attendees and Sync Attendance

During the event, attendees can be checked in directly within Eventful.

That attendance data is automatically synced back to Salesforce, updating the corresponding campaign member status. After the event, you can clearly see:

  • How many people registered
  • How many were approved or declined
  • How many actually attended

All of this lives directly on the Salesforce campaign.

Measure Post-Event Pipeline in Salesforce

Eventful goes beyond attendance to show how events influence revenue.

Once per day, Eventful scans your Salesforce instance for open Opportunities across all opportunity record types. If an Opportunity meets the following criteria:

  • A Contact or associated Account on the Opportunity attended an event
  • The Opportunity was created after the event date

Then Eventful attributes that Opportunity as post-event pipeline influenced.

Inside Eventful, you can see:

  • Total pipeline influenced by an event
  • Number of deals tied to event attendance
  • Pipeline dollar amount and closed won dollar amount per event

This data is also rolled up across events, allowing you to understand post-event pipeline production over time.

Get Slack Alerts When Events Create Pipeline

When new pipeline is detected from an event attendee, Eventful sends a Slack alert so your team knows immediately when an event creates revenue impact.

This keeps event performance visible without waiting for monthly reports or manual analysis.

Built for Salesforce Data Hygiene

Eventful respects your Salesforce configuration and governance rules.

If your Salesforce org restricts contact creation — such as blocking personal email domains — Eventful follows those rules. No records are overwritten, and no contacts are created outside of your defined constraints.

This ensures events enhance your CRM instead of cluttering it.

Why Teams Use the Salesforce Integration

Teams rely on the Salesforce integration to connect events directly to revenue without introducing complexity.

Eventful helps teams:

  • Run events as native Salesforce campaigns
  • Track registrations, approvals, and attendance accurately
  • Measure post-event pipeline impact
  • Trigger workflows and reporting using standard Salesforce objects
  • Maintain long-term CRM cleanliness
